Description
The selected candidate will work on a USDA-initiated work to introduce a fast, convenient, and easy-to-use handheld system for contamination, sanitization inspection, and disinfection that enables than rapid detection of saliva and respiratory droplets, and other organic residues that are present in kitchens.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing image processing algorithms for detecting fecal matter
- Developing machine learning algorithms to improve the detection accuracy
Required Competencies
- Knowledge of Machine Learning
- Knowledge of Image Processing
Minimum Requirements
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering
- Machine Learning Courses on Transcripts
- Minimum of six related journal paper on the CV
- Successful completion of criminal history records check.

Minimum Hiring Salary
$60,000 / year
Contract Period/Start Date
January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023; one-year contract
